Short answer: In ShortPen, go to Links → Import → Short.io, paste your Short.io API key, choose the destination domain in ShortPen, then click Start import. ShortPen recreates your links under the selected domain and keeps their slugs when available.

Notes & tips

  • Slug retention. ShortPen tries to keep each slug. If a slug is already taken on your target domain, resolve the conflict now or after import.
  • Domains. Imported links publish under the domain you selected. If you used multiple domains in Short.io, repeat the import per domain, or connect all those domains in ShortPen first.
  • CSV fallback. Prefer files? Export from Short.io and follow the guide: “How to import links from a CSV into ShortPen”.
