Short answer: Use the Import/Export wizard in Links → Import. Select Dub, paste your Dub API key, choose your domain, then Start import. After importing, review your links and (optionally) select multiple links to add them to folders or tags.

Before you start

  • You can log into Dub.co with permission to create API keys.

Open the Import/Export wizard

In ShortPen, go to Links → Import/Export and choose the Dub tile.

Generate a Dub API key

In another tab, sign in to Dub.co and create an API key from your account/API settings.Back in ShortPen, paste the key into “API key”.

Back in the wizard, paste the key into API Key.

Choose the destination domain

Use the Domain dropdown to select the ShortPen domain where imported links will live.

Import detected links

ShortPen lists the links detected from Dub in a table.Review the rows, delete any you don’t want to import, then click Import to create only the selected links under the chosen domain.

Review and organize

When the import completes, open Links.Multi-select imported rows to add to a folder or apply tags for reporting.

What gets imported?

ShortPen attempts to bring over the destination URL, slug, and title (if available). Folders and tags may not transfer. Assign them after import via multi-select.
  • QR Codes. Create/enable per link inside ShortPen if needed.
  • Redirect types & advanced options. Review per link.
