Short answer: Go to Settings → Organization → Team, then either Invite user and set their role, or open an existing member to change their role. Owners and Admins can manage roles (Admins can’t remove the Owner).

Before you start

  • You’re an Owner or Admin in the Organization you’re managing. Admins can manage users but cannot delete the Owner.

Manage the role of an existing user

  1. Go to Settings → Organization → Team.
  2. Select the user from the list to open their profile/permissions.
  3. Switch Make it administrator On/Off to promote to Admin or revert to User.
  4. Review Workspace access and adjust (grant All workspaces or specific workspaces).
  5. Save your changes.
Admin” is for people who help you manage ShortPen (users, domains, workspaces). “User” is for people who just need to create/manage links inside the workspaces you allow.
