Short answer: Go to Settings → Organization → Workspaces. Click New workspace to create one, the gear icon to rename or manage access, and the trash button to delete (only shown when you have more than one workspace, deleting permanently removes everything in that workspace).

How to create a new workspace

  1. Go to Settings → Organization → Workspaces.
  2. Click New workspace.
  3. Name the workspace.
  4. Manage user access:
    • Toggle All users in the organization to grant access to everyone, or
    • Check specific users to give access only to them (recommended for client-by-client setups). (This assigns workspace access to users who already exist in your Organization.)
  5. Click Create.

How to rename a workspace

  1. Select the workspace you want to edit from the dropdown menu in ShortPen’s primary sidebar.
  2. From Settings → Workspaces.
  3. Update the Workspace name and click Save.

How to delete a workspace

  1. From Settings → Workspaces, open the gear icon for the target workspace.
  2. Choose Delete and confirm.
This choice is irreversible.
Important: You’ll see the delete control only when your Organization has more than one workspace. If you delete a workspace, everything inside it is lost forever (links, QR codes, analytics, events).
