Short answer: To cancel, downgrade your current plan to the Free “Start” plan from Settings → Billing and PlanView plans and confirm the downgrade. Refunds are not available as per our Terms. If something critical went wrong, contact Support and tell us what happened. We’ll review your case.

How to cancel your subscription by downgrading to Free

  1. Open Billing. In ShortPen, go to Settings → Billing and Plan.
  2. View Plans. Click View plans (top-right of the billing card).
  3. Select Free. On the plan chooser, find Start (Free) and click Downgrade to Start.
  4. Confirm. Follow the confirmation prompt. Your paid subscription stops renewing at the end of the current paid period.
That’s it. Your account stays active on the Free plan. You can upgrade again any time.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not available. Our Terms don’t allow refunds.
  • Used the service? If the service has been used, a refund isn’t possible.
  • Exceptional situation? If something severe or unusual happened, contact Support with details. We’ll review and try to help.
