Short answer: Go to Settings → Billing and Plan, click View plans, pick a new plan, and confirm. Upgrades charge only the prorated difference for the rest of the cycle. Downgrades don’t refund the current cycle; they take effect at the next renewal.

How to change your plan: Steps

Open Billing

In ShortPen, go to Settings → Billing and Plan.You’ll see your active plan and usage bars (users, workspaces, events).

View available plans

Click View plans.

Choose the target plan

Click Upgrade (or Downgrade) on the plan you want.

Confirm

Check the summary and confirm.Your plan status updates on the Billing and Plan page.You can change the plan anytime from here.

How billing works mid-cycle

  • Upgrade We credit the amount you already paid for the remaining days of your current plan and charge only the difference for the rest of the cycle. Your higher limits/features start immediately after confirmation.
  • Downgrade You keep your current (higher) plan until the renewal date, then the lower plan starts. Same if you move to Free, it starts at renewal. Your links and data stay, features over the new plan’s limits pause when the lower plan begins.
