Short answer: Go to Settings → Organization → Pixels → Create new Pixel, name it, add the Allowed domains, choose which workspaces can use it, then Save.

How to create a new ShortPen Pixel: Steps

1

Open the Pixels tab

Go to Settings → Organization → Pixels, then select Create new Pixel.
2

Fill in pixel details

  • Pixel name. Use a simple, unique label like “Main Website”, “Shopify Store”, or “LPs – Q4”. Good naming makes troubleshooting later easier.
  • Allowed domains. Enter the domain(s) where the Pixel will be installed. You can list multiple domains, separated by commas. Only events from these domains will be accepted
Tip: one Pixel per main domain keeps data tidy across projects/clients.
  • Connect to workspaces. Choose all workspaces or pick specific ones. Each workspace can have only one Pixel connected at a time to avoid double tracking.

3

Save

Click Save. Your Pixel appears under Settings → Organization → Pixels with Last activity and Created timestamps.
You don’t need the Pixel to see basic click or QR scan counts. The Pixel is only for post-click events/conversions (e.g., signups, purchases).
