# How to import links from Dub.co into ShortPen

> Import your Dub.co links into ShortPen in minutes. Transfer slugs, titles, and destinations while keeping everything organized.

**Short answer:** Use the Import/Export wizard in **Links → Import**. Select **Dub**, paste your **Dub API key**, choose your **domain**, then **Start import**. After importing, review your links and (optionally) select multiple links to add them to **folders** or **tags**.

## Before you start

* You can log into **Dub.co** with permission to create **API keys**.

## How to import links from Dub.co: Steps

    In ShortPen, go to **Links → Import/Export** and choose the **Dub** tile.

    In another tab, sign in to **Dub.co** and create an API key from your account/API settings.

    Back in ShortPen, paste the key into "API key".

    Back in the wizard, paste the key into **API Key**.

    Use the **Domain** dropdown to select the ShortPen domain where imported links will live.

    ShortPen lists the links detected from Dub in a table.

    **Review the rows**, **delete any you don’t want to import**, then click **Import** to create only the selected links under the chosen domain.

    When the import completes, open **Links**.

## What gets imported?

ShortPen attempts to bring over the **destination URL**, **slug**, and **title** (if available). Folders and tags may not transfer. Assign them after import via multi-select.
