# How to segment ShortPen data by folders and tags 

> Segment ShortPen analytics by folders and tags to compare campaigns, clients, or channels with precise filters.

**Short answer:** go to **Analytics**, open **Filter**, then choose **Folder** or **Tag** (you can combine multiple filters). Charts and tables will update to display only the selected groups, allowing you to compare campaigns, clients, or categories.

## How to segment data: Steps

    1. Open **Analytics**.
    2. Click **Filter → Folder** and select one or more folders (e.g., Client A, Q4 Launch).
    3. Review charts and breakdown tables. All values now reflect only the selected folder.

    No. Folder/Tag filters exist only in Workspace Analytics. [Single Link Analytics](/analytics/link-level-analytics/link-level-metrics) has its own per-link filters (event, country, device, etc.).
